Earth Cycles Installation

Earth Cycles is a permanent outdoor installation designed for a private business in Sicily located within their small private park. The project explores the natural cycles of the earth through sculptural forms, all conceptually and materially rooted in the use of the earth. After conducting a series of material tests, the final design features a staircase to nowhere, constructed using reinforced rammed earth sourced directly from the site. This structure, both sculptural and functional, evokes the connection between human intervention and the natural landscape.
